Andrew Shikiar

Andrew Shikiar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Luminance Consulting and brings years of strategic marketing and business development expertise to Luminance's clients. Andrew has marketed leading edge technologies at their earliest conception, including Java, identity & access management, open mobile platforms and big data analytics. 

In addition to his work as a consultant, Shikiar has held executive and managerial jobs with a variety of technology organizations. Managerial roles at Sun Microsystems included helping drive the company's Java and Liberty Alliance launch initiatives. Andrew was also a founding executive at Radical Communication, where he helped raise nearly $20 million in venture financing and drove market adoption of interactive video and email marketing technology solutions.  Most recently, Andrew worked with leading global operators and technology providers to drive the launch, growth and commercialization of the LiMo & Tizen open mobile platforms.  Andrew currently serves as VP of Corporate Development for BigML.

Andrew has extensive public speaking and media experience. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, CNN and a variety of technology trade publications, and has spoken at dozens of conferences and events around the world.

 

Amy Cozamanis

Amy is a Partner at Luminance Consulting, where she brings over 15 years of investment banking and investor relations experience to her clients. Most recently, Amy was a senior member of the Technology Investment Banking team at Morgan Keegan (formerly Revolution Partners) where she specialized in raising capital for private growth stage companies from various sources worldwide, including venture capital, private equity, hedge funds, family offices and strategic investors. Amy has raised over $250 million in expansion capital for growth-stage technology and technology-related companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, Amy was at Financial Relations Board, where she was responsible for the positioning and marketing of publicly traded technology companies as well as acting as her clients’ liaison to investors, research analysts and a broader financial audience.

Amy began her career at Deutsche Bank in San Francisco and London, where she specialized in private placements as part of the Investment Banking Group. Amy graduated with honors from Villanova University.

 

Jennifer Peterson

Jennifer is a Partner at Luminance Consulting and brings over 10 years of investment banking and strategic advisory experience to the firm. Prior to joining Luminance, Jennifer was a Vice President at Victory Park Securities (VPS), playing a key role in establishing its Boston presence. While at VPS, Jennifer advised numerous clients spanning various sectors on mergers and acquisitions transactions and private capital fundraising.

Prior to VPS, Jennifer was with Morgan Keegan (formerly Revolution Partners) in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Boston where she focused on raising private capital for growth-stage technology companies. Throughout her career, Jennifer has raised over $200 million of capital for her clients. She holds a BA from Columbia University.
